Description

Dr Grant Hamlet graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in December 2001, with a medical degree, MB.ChB, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine. Dr Hamlet is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK and is one of the UK’s leading specialists for Body Sculpturing; Vaser, Vaser Mid-def, Vaser Hi-def, Fat Transfer and many other non-surgical aesthetic procedures.

After graduating, Dr Hamlet sought to expand his knowledge and gain a wider scope of his profession by seeking post graduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Internal Medicine and A&E services.

Before coming to the UK Dr Hamlet worked in South Africa within Trauma and Orthopaedics. Dr Hamlet came to the UK in 2003 and worked in Portsmouth and within Private Hospitals in London. From here, Dr Hamlet was introduced to the world of “aesthetics”. Aesthetics has always been a particular interest of Dr Hamlet’s as it enabled him to have a greater interaction with his patients and has allowed him to combine his skill in surgery, his artistic eye and his all important bedside manner.

Like everything Dr Hamlet does, he strives to be the best within his field. He refuses to do anything in half measures. Therefore Dr Hamlet ensured he received accredited training by the product manufacturers. This has involved international and UK based training in Lipo Sculpture (Facial & Body), VASER®, Macrolane™, Dermal Fillers and OBAGI®.

In 2009, Dr Hamlet was one of the first two doctors in the UK to receive training in VASER® Hi-Def Sculpturing using the innovative VASER® technology. This has seen Dr Hamlet become one of the most sought after trainers in Europe for those wishing to learn VASER® Liposelection. He was also one of the first doctors in the UK to be trained in, practise and train others in Q-Med’s Macrolane™ injectable treatment.
