Description

Ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy offers patients an effective, low risk, non-surgical solution for varicose veins (primary or recurrent) at an affordable price with no time off-work required.

A free initial consultation takes place with the experienced vascular surgeon, Jamie Barwell

The treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic by Jamie Barwell and the vascular nurse specialist who is experienced in performing venous duplex scans. You are treated as an out-patient and able to go home after about a 90 minute visit.

There are no surgical scars but there may be some temporary tender lumps and minor skin staining afterwards. You need to wear the full length compression stocking provided by the clinic for 5 days after treatment.

You will be seen again after a few weeks for a check-up with Jamie Barwell. Some people require a top-up treatment which is included in the package price.
