         NHS DONCASTER - TEST YOUR HEALTH

We are the TEST YOUR HEALTH NurseTeam.  

It is our mission to bring NHS Health Checks to as many venues as possible across Doncaster, to this end we hold sessions in retail areas such as B & Q, Lakeside and The Corn Exchange, Community Venues and Health Centres and we can also bring this free service to the workplace for your staff.                     

To take advantage of this FREE health check you must be aged between 40 - 74 and not under the care of a Doctor for any cardiovascular condition.                                                      You must also reside within DN 1 - 12 or S64.

The health check is a quick and simple review of core risk factors associated with Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes and Renal Disease.

The check lasts approximately 20 minutes and includes:    Instant Cholesterol & Blood Sugar testing     Blood Pressure and Heart RateBMI A few questions about your general health and family historyOpportunity for you to ask any health related questionsPractical advice for the future     

You will take your results away with you and an electronic copy will be forwarded to your GP
